SESEC held its first Advocacy Retreat on 2/23/13. Thank you to the almost 40 community leaders who spent 6 hours with us working to determine our advocacy priorities for the year. More information will be posted shortly, but the group identified:

  •  access to high quality preschool programs;
  • ELL certification for all teachers;
  • case managers at every schools; and
  • increased school/community partnerships and engagement.

For more information on each of these issues, please read our one pagers!
