SESEC has launched a campaign called “All Fives in Five” (5I5) with the goal of working together with the education community to help all Southeast Seattle Schools become level-5 schools in 5 years. Level 5 is the designation for the highest performing schools in Seattle.
SESEC is holding a series of community dinners to build community and develop a platform and plan of action to achieve All Fives. To take part, contact SESEC’s program coordinator, Katherine Barr.
We’re also collecting answers to two questions:
In one word, what do kids in SE Seattle need to succeed?
In one word, what do organizations and schools need to be more effective?
Soon, you will be able to add your voice to an online conversation around the strengths of and barriers to education in Southeast Seattle.
